  • God is eternal - He had no beginning and will have no end.

What we believe about Jesus

  • Jesus is the eternal Son of God, co-existent and co-equal with the Father and the Holy Spirit.
  • Jesus willingly laid aside the majesty of heaven and became a man; He was born of Mary and grew up in Nazareth.
  • His life was a perfect one; although He was a true man, He was without sin.
  • He willingly laid down His life as a sacrifice for the sin of mankind, He was buried and rose again the third day.
  • Forty days later He ascended to heaven from where He will one day return to earth.

What we believe about Jesus' death

  • After living a perfect life, Jesus gave His life and was crucified at Calvary.
  • His death was voluntary and was carried out as God's plan for salvation.
  • While He was upon the cross, God placed the punishment for sin upon Him.
  • Through faith in Christ, Salvation can be received by any individual freely.

What we believe about Eternal Life.

  • Eternal life is a gift of God - it cannot be earned or deserved in any way.
  • Eternal Life is provided through the death of the Lord Jesus Christ.
  • Once a person receives eternal life, as a gift, from God, he/she is secure and cannot lose that gift of life.

The Way to Heaven

  • The way to heaven is only through the Lord Jesus Christ. He is the only way to God and is the only mediator between God and men.
